It works
After 2 defective units from another company, I'm just happy this one works. It is smaller. But it works. And I do really like the camera that IDs my cats. Was very quick to learn the difference between the 2 that weigh the same. I'm happy with this product.

Needed a little patience with my cat
I LOVE this litter box. Working as a vet tech, one of the reason I didn’t wanna buy a smart litter box was because litter can tells us so many things especially for a my girl who has history of UTI. (Size of clumps, color, frequency) So it is important for us to SEE them when we are cleaning. I love the fact that this litter box takes photos of waste so we can check. Great thing about this litter box is now we can actually see when she’s using litter box. So it would definitely help with checking if she’s vocalizing while urinating, or straining to urinate/defecate etc. Those can be a great information when they have any health issues. For my cat, it wasn’t an easy transition as she got a little skittish when we first put her in a machine... So we had to use an old litter box at same time. I wanted to make sure she will urinare and poop once a day, but once she does, I take old litter box away so she has only one option(smart litter box) to use. One of the best thing we did for this long process of transition was using Dr. Elsey’s cat attract litter. Some days, she will “appear” in front of litter box to check inside 50+ times but still won’t go inside. It took us 7 days for her to go in on her own and finally pee in there. & it also took 15 days for her to take a dump. During transition, I turned off smart clean feature off, so I don’t accidentally scare her after her use. I only manually clean (pushing a button to clean from app) when she is in the other room with me. Today is day 18, and she is now consistently using a smart litter box without issues, so l finally turned back on smart cleaning feature. (I still set it to clean 10 mins after use) but it has been working great.
